This is a major period of my life. It is my great pleasure to share a very ambitious project with you that i have been working on in my home country; the building of an unprecedented Art Institute. This has been something i have had in my heart most of my adolescent life but really been serious about it the last 7 years where now it is a registered entity. The amount of work and support that i need for this is unprecedented, but i am appealing to all the wonderful people in my life, NOW is the moment! This will be an Institute of higher learning that will not only benefit African students but will be accepting students from all over the World in the dynamic city of Cape Town.



This is a massive undertaking that will involve:

 

(1) A health and wellness centre (FR55DOM NETWORK)

(2) A Leadership Academy (FR55DOM ACADEMY) in the Eastern Cape

(3) THE FR55DOM INSTITUTE OF THE ARTS settled in Cape Town.

This whole venture must be sustainable and we have aimed to create a space that is completely environmentally sound.

We are currently embarking on the next steps in manifesting this well-awaited dream...
To solidify the strategic plan and create a fundraising video and campaign to the launch our kickstarter project (an online resource to raise additional funds),
as well as to build the team of investors and dedicated members who will help bring this institute into fruition.

This institute has been in conception for the past 7 years, and now, with all the experience, knowledge and contacts we have gathered, it is without a doubt the time to make it a reality.

The most ground-breaking location has been found that will make the unearthing of this school an epic story, full of unification, healing, and powerful truth. (READ QUOTE BELOW)
Thus, the creation of this institute is a work of art in itself with a powerful message that needs to be shared and experienced.
  - The birth of this school is being conceptualized as an experiential show, and will be documented to become an immersive film to be broadcasted worldwide. -

This project is ambitious and truly important for the generations to come.
We know we have a responsibility to use the gifts and blessings we have been granted to share and exchange and deliver to the growth of society.

“The idea of the fort has to do with something I dreamt as a child. I come from the Eastern Cape, one of the most fortified regions on the planet. These forts enslaved, chained and trapped people physically and spiritually, harming both the oppressed and the oppressor. When I was eleven, I could feel this heavy negative force and I suddenly had this thought that one day this force would be converted into a positive force, one that liberated minds. At the time of course I had no idea why this thought came into my mind but when the potential site came up I time travelled back to 11 years and realized why…Ours is not to destroy our past with all its good and bad, it is our heritage. Ours is to rise together because we all need each other to heal – Black and white, privileged and deprived. Harmful policies like Apartheid have only led to enmity and division amongst mankind. I believe we are the generation that will manifest the true reality of Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité! and it is in this spirit that we work towards the establishment of the Fr55dom Institute of The Arts.”
